More (and Less) on The Hippocratic Oath of Business

Brevity has never been my strong suit. Witness this morning’s PE Week Wire (an excellent daily newsletter for those with an interest in Private Equity and Venture Capital): Alexander Haislip offers a single sentence that delivers the same message as my recent post on the same topic, but in just 25 words:

Good companies, they said, make good products that don’t hurt people, have financial success, treat their employees fairly and give back to the community

This is the considered view of the fifth-grade class at the Carden El Encanto Day School in Santa Clara, California where Alex was a BizWorld volunteer for a day. Smart kids. I (obviously) couldn’t have said it better myself.
